Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how A1 Site Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our website audit service at a1sitesolutions.com. By using our Service you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Who we are
A1 Site Solutions is an online website audit tool based in Ireland. We provide instant website performance, SEO, accessibility and best-practice audits powered by Google PageSpeed Insights, along with AI-generated fix plans for paying customers.
For any privacy-related queries, contact us at contact@a1sitesolutions.com.
2. What data we collect
Information you provide
- Email address — collected optionally when you request a report to be emailed to you, purchase a Site Pass or Pro subscription, or submit feedback. We do not require an email address to run a free scan.
- Website URLs — the URLs you submit for scanning. For Site Pass customers, the first URL scanned is stored and used to lock your token to that site for the 30-day access period.
Payment information
Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number, CVV, or full payment details. Stripe may share a billing email and a customer reference ID with us for the purposes of managing your subscription or purchase.
Usage data
When you visit our site we may automatically collect your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and the time and date of your visit. This data is collected via Statcounter analytics and standard server logs.
3. How we use your data
- To run the website audit and return results to you
- To deliver your report or Site Pass access link by email
- To manage your Pro subscription, including sending login links and payment notifications
- To send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, login links, payment failure notices)
- To respond to feedback or support requests you send us
- To monitor and improve the performance and security of our service
- To comply with our legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
4. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate our site. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
- Stripe — payment processing. stripe.com/privacy
- Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) — transactional and marketing email delivery. Your email address is stored in Brevo when you opt in to receive your report by email or purchase a plan. brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy
- Groq — AI inference used to generate fix plans for paying customers. PageSpeed audit data (scores and issue descriptions) is sent to Groq to produce your fix plan. No personally identifiable information is included in these requests. groq.com/privacy-policy
- Google PageSpeed Insights API — the URL you submit for scanning is sent to Google’s PageSpeed Insights API to retrieve performance data. policies.google.com/privacy
- Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google’s CDN, which may log your IP address. policies.google.com/privacy
- Statcounter — website analytics. Statcounter collects anonymised visitor data including IP addresses and page views. statcounter.com/about/legal
- Cloudflare — our site is proxied through Cloudflare for performance and security. Cloudflare processes request data including IP addresses. cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
5. Cookies & tracking
We use the following cookies and local storage on our site:
- a1_session — a secure, HTTP-only session cookie set when you log in to a Pro account. It expires after 30 days. This cookie is strictly necessary to keep you logged in and cannot be declined without breaking Pro login functionality.
- localStorage (a1_last_url, a1_last_score, a1_last_scan) — stored in your browser to remember your last scan result for the “welcome back” feature. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to our servers.
- Statcounter — analytics cookies used to measure site traffic. These are third-party cookies administered by Statcounter.
- Cloudflare — Cloudflare may set performance and security cookies as part of its service.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect your ability to run free scans, but will prevent Pro login from working.
6. Data retention
- Site Pass tokens — expire and are purged from our servers 30 days after purchase.
- Pro account data — retained for the duration of your active subscription and for up to 24 months after cancellation to handle any post-termination queries or disputes, after which it is deleted.
- Email addresses (Brevo) — retained while you have an active relationship with us. You can request deletion at any time by emailing contact@a1sitesolutions.com.
- Server logs and usage data — retained for up to 24 months for security monitoring and troubleshooting, then deleted.
- Feedback messages — retained in our email inbox for as long as necessary to respond, then deleted.
7. International transfers
Some of our third-party service providers (including Groq, Stripe, and Brevo) process data outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.
8. Your rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Right of access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your personal data.
- Right to restrict processing — you can ask us to limit how we use your data.

Our Service is not directed at anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at contact@a1sitesolutions.com and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify active Pro subscribers by email. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
